Erin Thompson Podvin

The board of Family Connection-Communities In Schools of Athens (FC-CIS) announces Erin Thompson Podvin as the new executive director. With over 20 years of experience in K-12, higher education, and non-profits, Podvin will oversee FC-CIS programs and partnerships. She succeeds Tim Johnson, who retires after 33 years of service. Podvin previously worked with esp, inc., the Clarke County School District, and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. She begins May 15, transitioning with Johnson before officially assuming the role on July 1.
