CDC ACEs webinar
June 21 @ 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM
from the CDC Drug Free Communities office:
We are excited to announce that the DFC Branch within CDC is hosting a webinar on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) on June 21st from 2:00-3:30pm ET. Click here to register for the webinar.
This webinar features Dr. Sarah Bacon, CDC’s Senior Advisor on ACEs, who will provide a high level overview of the linkage between ACEs and youth substance use and will walk through CDC’s technical packages on Youth Violence, with a special emphasis on ACEs. These technical packages provide the best possible evidence to prevent and reduce youth violence and can help guide prevention decision-making in communities. She will be joined by Laurie Stillman from the Milton Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition, who will share how her coalition focuses on ACEs as part of their work with the DFC Support Program.
