Resources: Clarke Central High School Students Benefit from Food & Clothing Bank
The Clarke Central Food and Clothing Bank offers students of all backgrounds a chance to discreetly gather food, clothes, hygiene items and school supplies.
“A lot of times, you have students who need food, clothing, and they know they have a place to come to get a little bag of what they need to take home,” says FC-CIS Site Coordinator Rodney Robinson. “And that’s one less thing they have to worry about, so they can focus more on academics.”
Managed by FC-CIS Site Coordinators, Clarke Central administrators, counselors and social workers say the bank has been a success.
“The FC-CIS Coordinators have been phenomenal in helping through the summer,” says Bianca Culver, Clarke Central Social Worker. “We have everything that a child would need at school. It’s a phenomenal resource.”
