May 21st is National Communities In Schools
Our CIS site coordinators continue to work with their students and the students’ families in the current emergency, providing food, taking District-provided laptops and hotspots and activity packets to their homes, reaching out to them with regular calls, and connecting them to other supports.
Our Neighborhood Leaders are out in the neighborhoods providing direct assistance and connecting neighbors to resources.
We’re working with our many community partners to address health, safety, supports for child care, and more.
In this time of increased work and greater community need, we’ve
been notified of a 14% reduction in our state
Anything you could do to help will support our work in making a difference every day, a true community working together!
